All packages include a sneak peek within one week of session date. Engagement photos are typically delivered within up to 4 weeks of session date. Elopement galleries have a turn around time of up to 6 weeks of elopement date. Wedding galleries deliver within 12 weeks of wedding day.

What is the typical turn around time for photos?

Sarah Folkers has worked diligently to ensure a certain style of true to life, timeless images that are not reflected immediately off of camera via the raw files. No raw files will ever be shared, however all images in a gallery will be available online for both web sized and high resolution download. Sarah will help you decide which version to download as well as offer album printing guidance through a reputable lab to ensure your prints are of the highest quality.

can we have copies of the RAW images?

Sarah Folkers photo is based in Flagstaff but also offers Sedona in locations available for coverage with no additional travel fees. Sarah is experienced in locations such as San Diego and Phoenix, but does require an additional travel fee for those areas as well as any location outside of Flagstaff and Sedona. Travel fees start at $50 per hour of driving + any applicable lodging. If your destination requires air travel then the fees would include the cost of flights, rental car, lodging, and $60 per day to cover eating expenses.

DO YOU TRAVEL?

The current sales tax rate for our area is 9.18% which will be added on to your total package price. There are additional add on options for packages such as an excursion upgrade, second shooter add on, additional time, engagement session, travel, etc. All payments are to be made via the invoice sent in your proposal alongside your contract. To book your date, Sarah requires a deposit to book and total balance to be paid within four weeks of your chosen date. Any cancellations within that four week window will be considered breach of contract and any amount paid will not be refunded. Installment payment options are available as well- if you are interested in breaking up your payments we are happy to create a custom payment schedule which fits your needs!

what are our payment options? are there any additional fees to be aware of?

First and foremost, we are people. And life happens. In the event of cancellation I am more than happy to work with you. Any cancellations outside of the four week mark will receive partial refund of their deposit. This is due to having your date blocked off for other potential clients who would have booked that slot in our calendar. Cancellations made within the four week mark of your date will receive no refund. 
Postponement of your date will just float your deposit to a different date of your choosing, assuming it is available in our calendar. Postponements must be within the same calendar year as original booking. 

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

Generally speaking, I do not mind a little rain on a shoot day. Hear me out! Something so uniquely beautiful about the Northern Arizona Landscape is its rich colors and tones. These tones and the natural geography have a way of peeking out and looking extra gorgeous on days with a little bit of weather. If we are scheduled for an engagement session outdoors and it is absolutely dumping, we will have to discuss a plan for rescheduling. In general, we are usually able still have a beautiful session and capture those timeless images you are looking for. When there is extreme snow then we have a conversation about road safety and always go from there. Safety is our top priority always and I would much rather reschedule you than have us both unsafe on the roads.

what if it rains?

Long before we get to the big day of your shoot, we will be communicating and ironing out all of those little details. Inevitably, in all of the exchange leading up to photo day, we will form a relationship that feels comfortable and easy. That is why I think the details and the planning are so important- so that by the time you are getting ready to pose you will feel more like you are hanging out with an old friend rather than a stranger you just met. I provide questionnaires and will ask if you are comfortable with more direction prior to the shoot so I can know as much about who you are and how you feel to help take the pressure off so you can look your best. My job is to guide you and know what looks best in front of the camera so you can just show up and have fun!

WHAT IF I AM NOT COMFORTABLE IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA?

While I specialize in engagements, elopements, and weddings, I do offer other types of photography as well. Depending on the season and availability I offer branding and maternity. Family sessions are offered seasonally in the Fall with my specialized Aspen session offering. If you are looking for any of these sort of sessions do not hesitate to reach out and ask- we may be able to find a date and get those photos for you. 

DO you offer family photography, maternity, or branding?

Within the platform that your gallery will be delivered to you is a very reputable print shop. I always recommend my clients order printed products such as prints, canvases, memory books, and albums directly through the gallery print lab provided. Part of my offering is an album guide which will help you curate the album of your dreams. Of course, you are absolutely within your rights to print your photos using any service you like, though I will not be able to guarantee their quality and that their lab will not distort your images after post processing. DO YOU OFFER PRINTS?

There are so many ways to upgrade your chosen package with Sarah Folkers Photo. For engagement session and elopements, there is an excursion upgrade which allows us to get to certain epic locations by way of Jeep. This upgrade covers the cost of the fully equipped off road vehicle that will have us arriving deep in the red rocks in style. For weddings over 60 guests, I require a second shooter add on. This is due to the amount of guests surpassing what a single photographer can cover on top of covering all of your personal moments throughout the day. The second shooter focuses on capturing the people you chose to include from near and far so that you can focus on getting married and still catch up on the interactions of your loved ones for years to come. Other add ons include and engagement session, bridal session, reception coverage, day after session, boudoir, and bachelor/bachelorette coverage.
